My love...

I wish I could always wake up to the view of the sunrise from my window every morning.
I recall when was in high school, I would do my duties in a hurry; not to catch some sleep, like most people would do. I used to rush not to miss the beautiful, breathtaking view of the sun as it rose. I think it is one of the very few things I miss from high school.  I dare say it made my life in high school interesting. I used to enjoy those moments very much. That was part of self-care routine in high school.

I remember a time during the national examinations period, we could see the sunrise from where I did my duty. The beautiful colors blended together.  The shades of orange and red, stretched across the sky. God is truly an artist!
I believe this was the beginning of my love for nature.it also gave me the desire to do photography. Every time saw it I wished I had a camera to capture the moment and save it for one of the difficult times in high school.
Joining a school in Nyeri, I see it now, was a continuation of the beautiful moments I would have with nature. Walking to class and having the blessing of having a view of the Mt. Kenya.

That’s not the end of it. Nyeri has so many beautiful physical features, from hills to beautiful falls like Zaina falls. I went for a hike to this fall with my group of friends. It was really beautiful.

Nature has a way of relaxing us. Have you ever fell asleep under a tree on a hot day? You should try it if you haven’t. The sleeps slaps differently, haha. Sitting in parks is also relaxing. Parks offer a space for a lot of activities.  People hang out, read books, and have photoshoots etcetera .Alas! I almost forgot, some people believe parks are a good place for dates. If you ask me, I think it depends on which park.  A nature walk would also be an ideal date with a picnic there after of course.
There’s still a lot that nature has to offer and I can’t wait for more adventures.
I look forward to having a house where I can have a view of the sun as it rises and sets. Reminiscing.   Sitting in my house reading this piece. Probably with a glass of wine, smiling as I wait for the sun to set, or rise who knows.
